Projects

01Multi-Broker Trading PlatformPaper-trading research

A modular Python platform for researching, simulating, and paper-testing trading strategies with explicit risk controls.

  • Separated market data, strategy, risk, execution, journaling, and analytics into testable components.
  • Built time-aware research workflows with causal features, chronological evaluation, and bid/ask execution modelling to avoid misleading backtests.
  • Orchestrated repeatable paper sessions with risk checks, trade journals, and automated verification so results can be inspected and reproduced.
  • Python
  • PyTorch & scikit-learn
  • Time-series validation
  • Causal feature engineering
  • Risk & execution modelling
02Dynamic Task RouterDeveloper tooling

A developer tool that routes bounded engineering tasks by capability, risk, and cost while keeping human review in the workflow.

  • Uses explicit task and provider policies to select a model and effort level without hard-coding one vendor.
  • Shares routing, execution, and run telemetry across the CLI, interactive TUI, and MCP server.
  • Supports isolated worktrees, ownership boundaries, and verification steps for reviewable code changes.
  • TypeScript & Node.js
  • MCP
  • Policy-driven model routing
  • Process orchestration
  • Isolated worktrees
03PlanAroundStudy planning

Turns timetable screenshots and assignment briefs into a realistic study schedule that fits around lectures, commitments, and deadlines.

  • AI only extracts structure from messy inputs; workload estimation and scheduling stay deterministic and explainable.
  • Workload is derived from ECTS, assessment weighting, and rubric structure, not guessed by the model.
  • Preserves completed work when plans change, with validated local data and offline support in a PWA.
  • Next.js & TypeScript
  • Cloudflare Workers
  • Multimodal extraction
  • Deterministic scheduling
  • Offline-capable PWA
04Deal LedgerDeal discovery

Building and maintaining a US deal-discovery site with automated candidate research and human review before publication.

  • Built searchable deal pages and item alerts around a structured catalogue.
  • Developed a Python ingestion pipeline that checks product data, suppresses duplicates, and prepares candidates for review.
  • Kept publishing behind manual price and listing checks, with automated site builds and deployment.
  • Hugo
  • Python
  • GitHub Actions
  • Product-data validation
  • Review-gated publishing

Experience

2026Software Engineering InternEricssonCI/CD support & pipeline engineering

Athlone, Co. Westmeath | January 2026–August 2026

  • Restructured a roughly 1,100-line Python CI decorators file into shared and executor-specific files, then introduced a parameterised factory that reduced the shared file to about 200 lines.
  • Built Groovy verification stages for cloud archive packaging and audited production builds, finding an undeclared ELF executable; added unit-tested artifact-repository checks to confirm files were present.
  • Developed and maintained Jenkins/Groovy stages for build, test, deployment, and cleanup workflows; configured Spinnaker parameters and cross-pipeline integration, and migrated test flows to lighter snapshot-based jobs.
  • Resolved a blocker build regression by tracing and reverting a faulty changeset; diagnosed Spinnaker-to-Jenkins authentication failures and a Kubernetes cleanup issue caused by Python file-write mode.
  • Updated Docker wrapper and build rules for SELinux volume mounts during parallel container execution, maintained Helm/Helmfile deployment configurations, and documented technical investigations.
2025Web Development InternOssarkClient website delivery

Athlone, Co. Westmeath | May 2025–August 2025

  • Contributed to client website projects through implementation, QA, and release, delivering responsive PHP/SCSS changes across multiple production sites.
  • Diagnosed frontend issues and translated client/team feedback into layout, usability, and responsive-design improvements without disrupting established pages.

Selected client sites: Kerry International Film Festival, MCL Electrical, Anushka Power Therapy, Daily Irish Produce, and Capital Homes.
